Know exactly what Circuswap does.

Circuswap is an independent, non-custodial interface. Its standard route uses testnet CCTP; a separately warned Temporary Bridge exposes an experimental Base-to-Arc mainnet Gateway route.

TESTNET is live

Testnet tokens have no monetary value. The standard MAINNET screen remains an inactive preview. The separately labeled Temporary Bridge uses real funds and requires explicit risk acknowledgements.

Temporary Base → Arc Bridge

The Temporary Bridge is a one-way, early-access mainnet workflow. It deposits Base USDC into Circle GatewayWallet, waits for Circle finality, requests a fresh EIP-712 BurnIntent, submits the signed intent to Circle, and asks the Circuswap-operated mint relayer to call GatewayMinter on Arc. If that relay fails, the page retains the Circle mint payload in session storage and offers relay retry or self-mint from the same wallet.

Circuswap fee3% deducted from total spend

This Temporary Bridge fee is separate from the standard testnet route and is sent to the disclosed Base fee-recipient address.

Temporary forwarding fee$0.25 deducted from total spend

This funds room for community/self-operated relay gas and outages. It is not a guarantee that any third-party relayer will perform.

Circle Gateway feeLive maximum deducted from the Gateway budget

Circuswap requests a fresh Circle estimate immediately before signing. The exact maximum is shown in the transaction preview.

Example: for a 100 USDC total spend, Circuswap deducts 3 USDC and the temporary forwarding fee deducts 0.25 USDC. Circle's live maximum fee is then deducted from the remaining 96.75 USDC to determine the Arc receive amount.

A conservative operating reserve is 0.05 native Arc USDC per mint: approximately 5 Arc USDC for 100 mints or 25 Arc USDC for 500. This is planning guidance, not a quoted gas price. Actual mint gas must be measured before Circuswap runs its own relayer.

What your wallet may ask you to sign

  1. 1
    USDC approval, if needed

Your wallet may approve Circle's CCTP contract to spend the amount required for this bridge.

  2. 2
Bridge amount and disclosed service fee

Circuswap passes your bridge amount and the additional 2% fee to Circle App Kit. App Kit routes 90% of the custom fee to the disclosed recipient and retains 10% for Arc. Review the total debit before signing.

  3. 3
    CCTP burn, attestation, and mint

USDC is burned on the source testnet. Circle attests to the message, then USDC is minted to the same wallet address on the destination.

Exact prompts and their order depend on your existing token allowance, direction, and the current Circle route. Your wallet remains the final source of truth.

Fees

Circuswap service fee2% added to the bridge amount

Bridging 10 USDC means an estimated 10.2 USDC wallet debit before network gas: 10 USDC bridged and a 0.2 USDC custom fee. Of that custom fee, 0.18 USDC goes to the disclosed recipient and 0.02 USDC goes to Arc.

CCTP Fast Transfer fee1–14 bps deducted from the bridge amount

Circuswap requests a live estimate before confirmation. Circle's protocol fee reduces the destination receive amount and is separate from the 2% custom fee.

Network gasSeparate and wallet-estimated

Sepolia ETH pays gas when bridging from Sepolia. Arc Testnet uses USDC as its native gas token when bridging in reverse.

Founding 500 promotional credit can offset only Circuswap's 2% service fee after mainnet execution launches. It does not cover Circle/CCTP protocol or forwarding fees and does not cover network gas. See the program rules.

Founding 500 verification

Circuswap can reserve a $5 mainnet service-fee credit for each of the first 500 wallet addresses that submit a verified Circuswap testnet bridge. The registry verifies the confirmed burn transaction, sender, route contracts, destination wallet, disclosed fee recipient, and exact 2% fee directly against testnet RPC data. It does not trust a success message from the browser.

The same EVM wallet account has the same address on Sepolia, Ethereum mainnet, and Arc. You must connect that same account to use its future credit. Credit is a non-transferable promotional ledger entry, not a token or cash balance.

Verified testnet addresses

These addresses apply to the standard testnet product. The separately labeled Temporary Bridge lists its fixed Base and Arc mainnet addresses above. Never substitute an address sent by direct message.

Circle publishes the CCTP system contracts. Circuswap supplies the disclosed custom-fee recipient, which receives 90% of the 2% fee; App Kit retains the remaining 10% for Arc. Circuswap does not deploy or custody USDC.

Safety checklist

  • Confirm whether the app says TESTNET or TEMPORARY MAINNET before connecting.
  • Verify the bridge amount, 2% fee, CCTP fee estimate, total debit, and destination wallet.
  • Compare wallet contract addresses with the table above.
  • Never share a seed phrase, private key, or wallet recovery code.
  • Use the transaction explorer links shown after each bridge step.
