Information the interface uses

After you authorize a wallet connection, the browser receives your public wallet address and current chain. Circuswap uses that address to request public USDC and gas balances and to prepare the route you choose. Public wallet addresses and blockchain transactions are visible on public ledgers.

Information Circuswap does not request

Circuswap does not request, receive, or store seed phrases, private keys, wallet recovery codes, passwords, government identification, or payment-card details. Wallet signatures occur inside your wallet provider.

Browser storage

If a bridge fails after it starts, Circuswap stores the Circle bridge result in your browser's session storage so the interface can offer a resume action. Session storage is scoped to the site and normally clears when the browser session ends. Circuswap currently does not create user accounts or advertising profiles.

The Temporary Bridge stores its resumable state only in browser session storage, including the public wallet, amount, public transaction hashes, Circle transfer identifier, EIP-712 authorization signature, attestation, and operator signature. The server does not create a user account or participant record for this route. Clear the session only after confirming the transfer never reached Circle or saving the data needed for recovery.

Founding 500 wallet registry

If you submit a qualifying testnet bridge, Circuswap stores the public wallet address in normalized form, the qualifying burn transaction hash, source chain, bridged amount, sequential program rank, timestamps, and credit-ledger entries. These records are used to verify eligibility, prevent duplicate allocations, display the wallet's credit, and later apply credit to Circuswap service fees.

The program does not ask for or attach an email, name, phone number, IP address, user agent, or marketing profile to the credit record. Circuswap publishes aggregate claimed and remaining counts, not a downloadable participant list. A status request returns only the specifically submitted wallet's record. Blockchain addresses and transactions remain public onchain.

Third-party processing

RPC endpoints, wallet providers, Circle services, block explorers, and the hosting provider may receive standard technical information such as your IP address, request metadata, public wallet address, and transaction data. Their own privacy notices govern their processing. Circuswap does not sell personal information.

On the Temporary Bridge, Circle receives the Gateway balance, estimate, and transfer requests. If automatic minting is requested, Circuswap's protected mint relayer receives the Circle attestation and operator signature needed to submit the public Arc mint transaction. The relayer never receives your wallet private key.

Support submissions

Support currently uses public GitHub Issues. Anything you post there is public. Share only public transaction hashes and troubleshooting details—never wallet secrets or unnecessary personal information.

Your choices

• Do not connect a wallet if you do not want Circuswap to read its public address.
• Disconnect Circuswap through your wallet's connected-sites settings.
• Clear site data or end the browser session to remove local recovery state.
• Use a dedicated testnet wallet rather than a wallet holding valuable assets.
• Do not submit a Founding 500 bridge if you do not want the public wallet and qualifying transaction recorded for administering the program.

Retention and integrity

Eligibility and ledger records are retained while the program and associated mainnet credits are active, and afterward when reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling, and accounting. Unique transaction and allocation references, prepared database statements, restricted administrative access, and non-public participant lists reduce duplication and disclosure risk. Contact official support for a privacy request; public blockchain data cannot be erased by Circuswap.

Changes and questions
